In the modern economic environment, nepotism has spread across all fields and has become a regular practise. Employees of the organisation find the granting of privileges to particular people to be a very upsetting situation, and the lack of trust that results from such circumstances has a negative impact on job satisfaction, organisational loyalty, and individual performance. It can also impede the internal control system. Nepotism is the term used to describe situations in the workplace where one person or group of people appears to be treated better than others without necessarily doing better on their jobs. These days, this topic has turned into a highly sensitive one that causes a lot of tension, which in turn causes employees to become less committed, to feel unsatisfied with the firm, and to ultimately decide to change jobs. The goal of this research was to determine how employee emotional engagement and work in the organisation correlated with nepotism.
