Abstract: The demand for efficient and reliable weighing systems in various industries has led to the development of wireless solutions that offer enhanced flexibility and convenience. In this study, we present the implementation of a digital load cell protocol tailored for wireless weighing systems. The proposed protocol aims to address the limitations of traditional analog load cell interfaces, such as susceptibility to noise, signal degradation over long distances, and lack of interoperability with digital communication standards. By leveraging digital signal processing techniques and wireless communication protocols, the proposed system offers improved accuracy, stability, and compatibility with modern data acquisition and processing systems. Key components of the implementation include the design of a digital interface circuitry for load cells, integration of wireless communication modules, and development of software protocols for data transmission and reception. The digital load cell protocol facilitates real-time monitoring of weight measurements, calibration procedures, and error detection, thereby enhancing the overall efficiency and reliability of the weighing system. Experimental results demonstrate the effectiveness of the proposed protocol in achieving accurate and consistent weight measurements across various operating conditions. Furthermore, the wireless capabilities enable seamless integration with existing industrial automation and control systems, opening up opportunities for enhanced process optimization and data analytics. Overall, the implementation of a digital load cell protocol for wireless weighing systems offers a promising solution to meet the growing demands for precision, reliability, and connectivity in industrial weighing applications. Further research and development efforts are warranted to explore additional functionalities, optimize performance, and address specific requirements of different industrial sectors.
