| Abstract: | The study deals with the production and marketing of drumstick in Dindigul district. The problems faced by growers of drumstick on various aspects like agricultural marketing is the combination of activities by which agricultural raw materials and processed are made ready for consumption and reach the final consumer in a suitable form and quantity at the appropriated time, place and price. This is a long and complicated process involving purchase, assembling, transport, grading, clearing and storage, packing, financing and sales of the produce concerned. The study is a combination of for both descriptive and analytical for the purpose of analysis, interview schedule is in order to identify the sample respondent. The following process are performed in Dindigul district covers in major drumstick growing taluks have been selected for the collection of primary data and it has been selected on the basic of “purposive sampling technique”.A structured interview was done to the Regulated market and Commission agents to the drumstick farmers. The data is analytical by Chi-square test and Structural Equation Modeling. Based on analysis and interpretation of the data, the findings, suggestions and conclusions are given for their further research. |
