Emancipation of women from all kinds of impediments with the appropriate education will help them to improve their physical, psychological conditions. It will also bring economic and political improvements which can bring sustainable development in the society. This study described many censorious ideas amalgamated with women education like- malnutrition, socio-cultural challenges, economic backwardness, drop out etc. To find out rational and causal illustration of educational backwardness of Rajbanshi women along with some of the probable prospects are objectives of this article. To reach these objectives, a questionnaire based descriptive and analytical method has been followed by a methodological framework of social inclusion to delineate the real literacy status of the Rajbanshi women in West Bengal. Thus, the active role of the government, women themselves, civil society and many other actors are compulsory to upgrade the educational status of the women.
