Both John Keats and Percy Bysshe Shelley, two of the Romantic period's most celebrated poets, had strong philosophical and cultural convictions that came through in their writing. Shelley was more in line with Platonism, while Keats was heavily inspired by Hellenism. The works of these two philosophers demonstrate the fundamental differences between their philosophies.
