In the contemporary era, Automatic Face
Recognition (AFR) technologies have
witnessed remarkable advancements in
performance over the recent years. This
progress can be attributed to two main
factors: the first being the time-saving aspect
in educational environments and the
maintenance of attendance accuracy, and the
second being the availability of advanced
technology that proves to be beneficial for
future generations. Face recognition remains
a persistent challenge in computer vision,
involving aspects such as illumination, pose,
and facial expression. Techniques like LDA
and face detection using Haar cascade
classifier have been utilized, with continuous
face detection by cameras and the application
of PCA algorithm for feature selection. The
proposed methodology leverages Bio ID-
Face-Database as the standard image
database
