Abstract
Natiyak sa pag-aaral na ito ang mga kuwentong Butanding sa bayan ng Donsol, Sorsogon. Natukoy rin ang kulturang Donsolanon na masasalamin sa mga kuwentong Butanding at ang kontribusyon nito sa komunidad, turismo at edukasyon. Deskriptib-kuwalitatibo ang disenyo ng pananaliksik. Binubuo ng 30 matatanda na may edad 65 taong gulang pataas, 10 mamamayan, 10 nagtatrabaho sa Turismo, at 10 guro na may kabuoang 60 impormante sa pag-aaral. Gumamit ng talatanungan ang mananaliksik at nagsagawa ng pakikipanayam sa mga impormante upang malikom ang mga datos na kailangan. Ang mga nalikom na datos ay sinuri at binigyan ng interpretasyon gamit ang tematikong analisis. Ginamit rin ang content analysis upang matukoy ang kulturang masasalamin sa mga kuwentong patungkol sa butanding. May mga kuwentong patungkol sa Butanding. Ang mga ito ay ang kuwento ng pinagmulan ng pangalang Butanding sa bayan ng Donsol. Mga kuwentong karanasan ng mga taga-Donsol sa butanding at kuwento ng pagkilala sa Butanding. Masasalamin sa mga kuwento ang kulturang Donsolanon na makikita mula sa mga pamumuhay, paniniwala at kaugalian. Ang kontribusyon ng nabuong kuwento ng butanding sa komunidad ay nakatutulong sa pagpreserba ng mga kuwentong butanding na isa sa pagkakakilanlan ng bayan ng Donsol, sa turismo ay nagsilbing tulong upang makilala ang bayan ng Donsol, at sa edukasyon ay nakatulong upang matugunan ang mga kakulangan ng mga paaralan. Inirerekomenda na maging batayan ang mga kuwentong Butanding sa pagpapakilala ng bayan ng Donsol. Maging batayan ang mga kulturang masasalamin sa mga kuwentong butanding sa pagpapalaganap ng kulturang Donsolanon. Maaaring ipagpatuloy ang paglalathala at pagpapalaganap ng mga kuwentong nagpapakita ng kulturang Donsolanon. Pagtibayin pa ng lubos ang kontribusyon ng kuwentong butanding sa komunidad, turismo at edukasyon. Magkaroon po ng mas malawak na kontribuyon ang kuwentong butanding sa iba pang aspeto sa bayan ng Donsol. Maaaring magsagawa pa ng iba pang pananaliksik na may kaugnayan sa kasalukuyang pag-aaral upang maging sandigan at gabay ng mga susunod na mananaliksik.
