With the increasing modern science of nanoparticles and the demand for green synthesis, the green synthesis of nanoparticles from metals is of great significance. Withania somnifera, commonly known as Ashwagandha, is frequently used herb in Ayurvedic medicine. The studies of nanoparticles of zinc and zinc sulphate obtained from Withania somnifera were found to have many health benefits. In this Paper the extraction of Zn nanoparticle was done from Ashwagandha. The zinc nanoparticles were Characterised and evaluated by FTIR.
