Kawasaki disease [KD] is an acute febrile vasculitic syndrome of early childhood that although has a good prognosis with treatment, but can lead to death from coronary artery aneurysms (CAA) in a very small percentage of patients. It is a rare disease that mainly affects children aged less than five years old. The cases discussed were of good prognosis, in spite of presence of aneurysms dilatation in one of the children.
