In this manuscript, the 2-adic valuation of octagonal numbers, sub sequences of non-negative integers in the presentation of octagonal shape which affords certain patterns and octa decagonal numbers are discussed. Also, binary trees of 2-adic valuation for the aforesaid sequences are monitored.
