Marriage

Marriage is a cohabitation of husband and wife who are expressing there feeling in emotional , social and biological way .In different religion different types of process of marriage are accepted in society like in Muslim marriage is a type of contract marriage were both husband and wife providing their mutual consent which include proposal (IJAB) and acceptance ( QUBOOL) , consideration (MEHR) these all process led to help in completion of marriage . Hindu marriage is a religious sacrament which is based on dharma and Even in our Rig Vedas it is written that Hindu marriage is sacrament. Hindu marriage consist of process of marriage like kalash ( it represents body of god), homa ( deities are invited in marriage for providing benediction to husband and wife ) , SAPTAPADI ( seven step together) this is last step of marriage and without this process marriage is void . The topic which I will be covering in this research paper are :- 1. inter caste and inter religious marriage should be accepted in our society or not:- in my opinion it should be accepted because it led to reduce the discrimination on the basis of caste and religion and share friendly relation with each other and also helps in uniting our country . now a days law has also provided the power to the person who have achieved the majority they can execute their inter caste and inter religious marriage without permission of parents but they should execute legally in court. 2. Either Hindu marriage or Muslim marriage is better for protection of woman rights :- so , in my opinion Hindu marriage is better because protect the right in different ways like Monogamy(only one marriage can execute by husband and wife) , after divorce women will be provided maintenance for life time and last woman can also adopt child were in Muslim marriage opposite of this all divorce maintenance after IDDAT period of ninety days were not provided to Muslim woman , polygamy ( one husband has more than one wives) and last Muslim marriage is a type of contract basis which led to terminate any time expressly and also look likes that it does not share that much emotion which Hindu marriage have.
