Herbal oils, extracted from various medicinal plants, have been used for centuries for therapeutic purposes due to their wide range of bioactive compounds. These oils possess antimicrobial, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory, and wound-healing properties, which make them essential in traditional and modern medicine. Recent research highlights the importance of essential oils derived from herbs such as Lavandulaangustifolia (Lavender), Rosmarinus officinalis (Rosemary), and Melaleucaalternifolia (Tea Tree) in dermatological applications, aromatherapy, and complementary treatments. The chemical composition of herbal oils, including terpenes, flavonoids, and alkaloids, plays a critical role in their biological activities. This abstract reviews the therapeutic potentials of herbal oils, focusing on their medicinal applications and safety profiles in modern healthcare practices.
