The aim of the study is to see the effectiveness of Interferential Therapy (IFT) along with Myofascial Release (MFR) on pain and functional activities in young adults with bilateral upper trapezitis at the end of 1 week. A total of 74 young adults with bilateral upper trapezitis falling between age group of 18 to 25 years were the subject population of this study. Visual Analogue Scale (VAS) and Neck Disability Index (NDI) were used to compare the effect of pain and functional activities in the participants. IFT and MFR are used in this study to evaluate the effectiveness of an intervention. VAS and NDI scores were assessed before and after the intervention to evaluate pain, functional activities and effectiveness of the protocol. All the participants had a highly significant decrease in their VAS and NDI scores. All the participants had a good significance in the decrease in pain.
