Comparative Study of The Effectiveness Of Conventional Physiotherapy and Conventional Physiotherapy Exercises With Dual Task Training In Stroke Patients
Keywords: Dual task training, stroke patients, berg balance scale, mini mental state examination, comparison .
Background: Stroke is a disease caused by a lack of blood supply to the brain following ischemia or hemorrhage. The reduced motility following stroke results in a body imbalance that appears as asymmetric posture, proprioception disorder, and abnormal muscle tone that lead to the degeneration of balancing ability. [1] It causes loss of positional control that leads to instability, which in turn brings about reduced balancing ability, concentration difficulty, and decreased independence in activities of daily living (ADLs)[2] Stroke is the most prevalent cause of ambulatory disability and impaired activities of daily living (ADL) [2]
Aim
To Study The Effectiveness Of Conventional Physiotherapy and Conventional Physiotherapy Exercises With Dual-Task Training In Stroke Patients.
Objectives: 1) Evaluate the effectiveness of both interventions on cognitive functions and balance functions in stroke patients.
2) To compare the effectiveness of dual-task training by using mini-mental state examination and Berg balance scale.
Methodology: Written Informed consent of the subject will be taken. Total subjects N= 64 The first 32 subjects were assigned to the training group and the remaining 32 in the control group Participants were divided into 2 groups and the experimental study was done
Result:. These results indicate a notable improvement in both cognitive function, as measured by the Mini Mental Scale, and balance, as measured by the Berg Balance Scale, following the intervention.
Conclusion: In conclusion, the research provides valuable insights into the demographics and outcomes of interventions targeting cognitive function and balance among our sample population.
