The present study aimed to identify the effectiveness of nurse-led intervention on symptom distress and quality of life of women with gynecological cancer receiving chemotherapy at selected hospital, Kozhikode District. The objectives of the study were, Identify the level of symptom distress experienced by women with gynaecological cancer receiving chemotherapy (experimental and control group) before and after the intervention ,assess quality of life of women with gynaecological cancer receiving chemotherapy (experimental and control group) before and after the intervention ,determine the effectiveness of nurse led intervention on symptom distress of women with gynaecological cancer receiving chemotherapy ,determine the effectiveness of nurse led intervention on quality of life of women with gynaecological cancer receiving chemotherapy, find out the correlation between symptom distress and quality of life of women with gynaecological cancer receiving chemotherapy ,find out the association between symptom distress of women and selected socio personal variables ,find out the association between quality of life of women and selected socio personal variables.
