Abstract
This research analyzes the role of French cuisine as a tool of cultural diplomacy and soft power. Through historical and contemporary case studies—including state dinners, gastronomic festivals such as Goût de France, and the global presence of French chefs and culinary schools—the thesis highlights how French gastronomy strengthens France's cultural identity and fosters international relations. The export of iconic products, participation in intercultural events, and the growing influence of culinary media contribute to making French cuisine a powerful vehicle for dialogue and mutual understanding. The study also examines the adaptability of this cuisine in the face of globalization and contemporary food preferences. In conclusion, French cuisine emerges as a strategic instrument of diplomacy, serving cultural exchange and France's international influence.
