Abstract: Currently we have a manual system where the street lights will be switched ON in the evening before the sunset and they are switched OFF in the next day morning after there is sufficient light on the road. With this, the power will be wasted upto some extent. The connection is done via wireless technology. Through internet of things everything of sensor designed for different purposes. In this a light dependent sensor and a humidity and temperature sensor are used to sense the environmental issues.The whole system can be powered by an artificial power source, such a ssolar .A smart road lighting framework conforms to light yield in the view of use and inhabitance, i.e., computerizing grouping of pedestrians, cyclist, cars and public transports. The smart road light administration proposes the establishment of there motebased framework to remotely track and control the genuine vitality utilization of the road lights and take suitable vitality utilization decrease measures through power molding and control. The road light controller ought to be introduced on the shaft lights which comprise of microcontroller alongside different sensor and remote module.
