Abstract: In recent times with the growing number of racing events hitting the roads every year, new technological solutions are being provided to effectively facilitate the racer to keep him/her alert of the next direction to be navigated through. But these methods have resulted in hindering the racer’s concentration affecting his/her focus from the race. To overcome this problem, we have developed a project that consists of a hardware module consisting of a AVR microcontroller, ESP8266 module, ultrasonic sensor with a vibration sensor fixed to both hands of the racer. A mobile application will be developed using a JavaScript framework react native, to select the location of the destination on the map and help the racer with directions to the destination. The directions are pushed wirelessly and fetched by the hardware module using the ESP8266 module. When the racer on travel is supposed to move to the left the hardware module with the vibration sensor fixed to his/her left hand vibrates notifying him/her to ride to the left and vice versa. If the vehicle is about to hit a nearby obstacle which is detected using the ultrasonic sensor automatic brakes are applied. By this project the racer is alerted before hand the direction he/she needs to ride without effectively deviating him/her from losing his/her focus from the race.
