Abstract: The current problem to water supply is the contamination of water resources by pollution. Water pollution generally known to be caused by Domestic and Industries; In addition there are also some more auxiliary units which producing more waste water which is not perceived yet as a cause of waste water. In that automobile wash waste water is the major producer of waste water which is left untreated and let into water bodies. People transport mostly by personal vehicle which leads to increase in more number of individual transport mode. Particularly usage of car and its maintenance create plenty of waste wash water and consume more volume of water. This impacts the environmental water balance in many ways. Further the conventional treatment of waste water becomes costlier more they are not think about treatment. The composition consists of Total dissolved Solids, Total suspended Solids, Chemical oxygen demand, Biological Oxygen demand, Methylene Blue Active Substance and other chemical substances which are detrimental to water bodies, Soil and for plants and animals. Generally the treatment process involves Aeration, Filtering, coagulation and flocculation, Sedimentation, Granular filtration and Adsorption. This review is to identify the various solutions that were tried by the researcher and the limitations therein.
