More than seventy five years have been passed since the in dependence of BHARAT. The India is going to celebrate “Aazadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav”. Even though country is suffering from the great crisis of values. The present society and the Indian legal system is facing the problems of bribery, dishonesty, corruption, poverty, intoxication, excess population, environmental pollution and unnecessary stress and tension overloading in courts and prisons. The persons are found fighting with each other due to their anger, ego, lust, selfishness, greed, immorality etc. The above situation creates a gulf between people and among nations due to color, caste, race, religion etc. We have divided the natural elements like earth, air and water. The co-operation among the people is lost, unity is destroyed and harmony has become “Mrig Trishana”. The immorality and falsehood prevails everywhere in the society. The hospitals are overcrowding with patients, prisons with criminals and the courts are over burdened due to frequent adjournments and inordinate delay in the judicial system. Eminent jurist Justice V.R. Krishna Iyer remarks that the traditional jurisprudence has failed. In his views and also in words of learned jurists Justice P.N. Bhagwati and Justice E.S. Venkateramiah retired Chief justice of India, legal system is almost of the verge of its total collapse. This research paper elaborates a novel concept that in the above situation spiritual law play a vital role in governing the society and bringing social change. Spiritual Prudence is the need of time for tomorrow’s ‘Golden Bharat’.
