| Abstract: | Dalit autobiographies of Sharankumar Limbale’s The Outcaste and Kishore Shantabai Kale’s Against All Odds portray the plight of the Dalit women and the issue of illegitimacy faced by their children born out of sexual exploitation of the men of the dominant caste. The stigma of illegitimacy creates many hurdles in the lives of the children of these women. The children of the exploited Dalit women suffer from the identity crisis. The present paper tries to make the comparative analysis of the theme of illegitimacy and its consequences. |
