Abstract: Bibliotherapy is a therapeutic approach employing books and other shorts of literature to support the children’s psychological state dealing with conditions such as anxiety and depression or coping with grief. Bibliotherapy provides are sensitive way for a practitioner or educator especially for children's to guide reading to help the individual understand themselves and environment learn from others and possible find solutions to their problems. Are non experimental descriptive survey research design was used for the study. The setting of the study was Rama hospital and research centre Sarvodaya hospital and Anjali hospital and diagnostic centre and RPS hospital and trauma centre Kanpur Uttar Pradesh and the sample size was 100 pediatric nurses selected by convenience sampling technique in the study. The data was collected and analyzed on the basis of objectives. The findings of the study shows that mean value is 13.57, standard deviations value is 6.598 and the majority 59% of pediatric nurses have moderate knowledge, 27% have good knowledge and 14% have poor knowledge. The association between level of knowledge regarding bibliotherapy among pediatric nurses with their selected demographic among pediatric nurses with their selected demographic variables age, gender, educational status, area of living, Clinical experience has significant level of knowledge except gender .it can be concluded that the majority of parents have moderate level of knowledge regarding bibliotherapy.
