Abstract: Zinc Oxide (ZnO) nanoparticles have gained more attention in the research community due to their extraordinary physical, chemical, and optical properties. Owing to their superior properties ZnO nanoparticles are used in various applications. The present paper reported the crystallographic properties of Zinc Oxide (ZnO) nanoparticles prepared by the coprecipitation method. ZnO nanoparticles were synthesized using zinc chloride (ZnCl3) and sodium hydroxide (NaOH) with (1:2) initial ratios. The ZnO nanoparticles were characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD) spectroscopy and explored their crystallographic properties. Using XRD data the grain size was calculated and it shows ~20 nm. The surface morphology of the synthesized nanoparticles has been examined by Field emission scanning electron microscopy (FE-SEM). The FESEM study exhibited the hexagonal nanocrystals clearly with minor agglomeration.
