Abstract: The research investigates soil nutritional condition, especially the potential hydrogen-Ph, Electric conductivity-EC, Organic Carbon -OC, Nitrogen-N, Potassium-K, and Phosphorus-P. These are important factors determining the soil's nutritional and health conditional level. The study has been done in H D Kote and Sraguru taluks of Mysore districts. Soil nutritional data were collected from the soil health card series of Karnataka, and the sampling points were transferred to Arcinfo platform for further analysis. Furthermore, with the analysis of geo-informatics, the IDW method, AHP, and weighted overlay analytical methodology, interpolation was done to understand the soil health condition. Based on the different macro nutritional factors the final regional soil health maps have been created. This paper provides the regional variations in the soil quality and health condition of the soil at local level which is useful for agriculture planners and the end user like farmers.
Keywords: soil nutritional, IDW, NPK, Ph, Geographical information system
