Abstract: ABSTRACT Human capital development requires strategic planning and design from educational institutions. Therefore, we must prepare educators if we are to satisfy the demands of the public. To improve education nationwide, pre-service teachers must be trained and taught in various disciplines. It is important that teacher education programs put the same amount of focus on developing teachers' technical skills as well as their conceptual and soft skills. In the discussion about the quality of education, system inputs like the number of students per teacher, the curriculum, and funding for infrastructure have gotten more attention than they should have. But in the past few years, there has been a shift toward teaching methods that focus on what students actually do in the classroom and how teachers can turn those activities into meaningful lessons. The idea of what constitutes a high-quality education is complex and multifaceted, as seen by the wide range of opinions on the subject. Developing soft skills leads to efficiency, quality, effectiveness, and fairness, which are all terms that are sometimes used interchangeably. The growth of high-quality education depends a lot on students and teachers getting better at "soft skills." This study aims to determine the relevance and significance of training in soft skills for aspiring educators. The quality of students' and teachers' educational experiences is directly linked to how well their social skills improve. A good education is also discussed, especially in how it helps people develop their interpersonal and intrapersonal skills. It also stresses how important a good education is for developing skills that can be used in different situations and for moving up in one's career. Secondary data from many published sources back up the study results. The study's results show that all people who want to become teachers should prioritize developing their soft skills.
