Post- acute covid-19 Syndrome develops during or after an infection consistent with COVID-19 which continue for more than 12 weeks and are not explained by alternative diagnosis. Health care providers are the front- line warriors in developing a comprehensive plan for identifying and managing post covid-19 complications. Considering this fact a descriptive study was conducted to assess the knowledge on Post-acute covid-19 syndrome among staff nurses in a selected hospital, Thrissur. The main Objectives of the study were to assess the level of knowledge on post-acute covid-19 syndrome among staff nurses, to associate the level of knowledge on post-acute covid -19 syndrome among staff nurses with their selected socio demographic variables and to prepare and distribute an information booklet on Post-Acute Covid. Non experimental Descriptive research design was used. The samples were the staff nurses working in Aswini hospital, Thrissur and the sample size is 50. The sampling technique used is convenient sampling technique. The data was collected by demographic profile and structured knowledge questioner through google form. The collected data was analysed by using descriptive and inferential statistics. The study revealed that 1(2%) staff nurses have adequate knowledge regarding post -acute covid19 syndrome, 15(30%) staff nurses have moderate knowledge 33(66%) staff nurses having inadequate knowledge and 1(2%) staff nurses have poor knowledge regarding post – acute covid 19 syndrome. Analysis showed that there was no significant association between the knowledge on Post- acute covid -19 syndrome among staff nurses with their selected demographic variable such as age, sex, working area, qualification, working experience, care of covid-19 patients, previous information and source of information.
