Abstract: As our project work consists of planning and design of Post Office building. For this study of journal, books and visit some post office buildings were referred for planning and get an idea to prepare our Post office Buildings. The Postal Service serves as a foundation for services offered by every level of government. Whether federal, state, or local. Due to its national reach presence, it's often the only personal point of contact people have with the federal government The Most services such as post or parcel delivery, money transfer, insurance and pension schemes offered by Indian post offices are great value for money as the tariffs are designed to be affordable for the common man. The design of the project is using the IS 456-2000, IS 875 (PART 1 - DEAD LOAD), IS 875 (PART - 2 LIVE LOAD) and SP 16. The IS 456 - 2000 is the general structure of plain and reinforced concrete. The structural element are slabs, beam, column and footing are designed by manual design using limit state method, For the present study M20 grade concrete and High yielded deformation bars of grade Fe415 is assumed for this design. The plan of this structure is using AutoCAD software, the structure are analysis is using in STADD Pro. Software used to analyze the structural member to know whether it is safe or not. It gives the moments and shear force and the details of reinforcement for the structural member (beam and column).
