The aim of the current study is to identify the impact of socio-economic status and the issues faced at workplaces upon the job satisfaction of the subject experts employed in the University of Lucknow. A sample of 14 respondents has been taken from different departments in the university. To identify the relationship and association between the chosen variables, various reliable analysis techniques have been adopted in the study. To summarize the gathered data from the respondents, Descriptive statics method is adopted and to estimate the link between the observed variables through the study, Chi-square analysis is adopted. In order to identity the association between the independent and dependent variables and to study the relationship shared by these variables, Regression and Correlation analysis are used respectively. The findings obtained suggest that the working conditions and the socio-economic status of the employees significantly impact their professional life and performance along with job satisfaction. The instability at the workplace and the instability of the socio-economic status of the subject experts working in the University of Lucknow are analyzed and its impact on job satisfaction is studied in depth through the responses collected from the participants. The indicators used for obtaining the result are generic and thus can be applied to comprehend the associations under varying employment circumstances. Through this study, the need for a stable socio-economic status and a favorable working environment is highlighted and stressed upon.
