Seasonal variations in climatic parameters are common in warm and humid regions, implying a high potential for geothermal effects for heating/cooling applications. However, due to a lack of information about the underground temperature profiles of the surface and shallow zones, such applications are extremely limited in these regions. As a result, the objectives of this study are as follows: i. Identify the well water temperature profile in the study area; (ii) conduct a feasibility study of the well water air tunnel system (WATS) in the study area; and (iii) if the system is feasible, identify possible design solutions. Determine why the system is not feasible.
