Abstract
Establishing a direct causal link between CSR activities and profitability can be challenging. Other external factors, market conditions, or internal changes may contribute to both trends independently. The study period (2016-2022) might not capture the long-term effects of CSR activities. The impact could evolve gradually, and a more extended analysis might be needed to fully understand the sustained influence on profitability. Economic fluctuations or industry specific challenges could overshadow the influence of CSR activities. External economic factors may have a substantial impact on Tata Motors' profitability independent of CSR efforts. Tata Motors likely engages in various CSR activities. The study may not distinguish the differential impact of specific initiatives, making it challenging to pinpoint which activities contribute most significantly to profitability. The study does not consider a comparative analysis with other companies in the automotive industry. Benchmarking against industry peers could provide a more nuanced understanding of the relative impact of CSR on profitability. The automotive industry is subject to rapid changes in technology, consumer preferences, and regulatory requirements. These evolving market conditions could influence profitability trends, and the study might not fully account for these dynamics.
