The objective of the present study was to develop a stability-indicating HPLC method to analyze Ozenoxacin and to validate the same. Stability-indicating HPLC for the drug Ozenoxacin was developed with COSMOSIL packed column 5C18-MS-II 4.16 ID x 250mm at a flow rate of 1.0ml/min using Acetonitrile: Phosphate buffer (50:50) (pH= 3.0, 0.1molar). The wavelength of detection was 304nm. The developed method was found to be linear over the concentration range of 3 to 18 ppm. The method passed all the validation criteria as per ICH guidelines.
The method can be used for Stability-indicating assays of the drug Ozenoxacin in a quality control laboratory.
