According to WHO an anxiety disorder is a type of mental health condition. If you have an anxiety disorder, you may respond to certain things an situations with fear and dread. You may also experience physical signs of anxiety, such as a pounding heart and sweating. The present study aimed to assess the effectiveness of Structure Teaching Program on knowledge regarding post – partum anxiety disorder among reproductive age group women in rural area.U.P. The objective of the study were to assess the knowledge of postpartum anxiety disorder among reproductive age group women and to evaluate the effectiveness of structured teaching program on postpartum anxiety disorder and to find out association between the pre/post test knowledge on postpartum anxiety disorder and selected demographic variables. The research approach used was Quantitative approach & pre – experimental (One group pre – test and post – test) design was adopted for the study.The setting of the study was village Kukradev , Kanpur , U.P.& the sample size was 100 reproductive age group women selected by purposive sampling technique. The data was collected and analyzed on the basis of objectives.The finding of the study show that majority of mothers had 62[62.0%] good knowledge, 38[38.0%] had average knowledge. There is no excellent knowledge and poor knowledge of the postnatal mothers. In this study findings shows that there is no significant association regarding knowledge with their selected demographic variables hence H01 Hypothesis is accepted. The study findings is suggested that the structure teaching program is effective method to increase the level of knowledge.
