Abstract: In recent years, nanoparticles of noble metals such as gold, silver, and palladium have drawn immense attention due to their wide range of new applications in various fields of industry. With regard to industry applications, inkjet inks containing uniform dispersions of nano-sized silver particles that are useful for creating electronic circuits and medical applications, such as extremely effective antibacterial agents without the toxic effects, are of particular interest. It is critical that the silver nanoparticles not only have nanoscale particles, but that the synthesis of the nanoparticles is simple and low-cost. Over the past few decades, many synthetic methods for silver nanoparticles have been studied. This paper aims to review different synthesis routes for silver nanoparticles and their applications. In particular, we mainly present several chemical approaches to preparing silver nanoparticles and their properties, as well as applications based on our recent studies. These nanoparticles demonstrated strong antibacterial action against bacteria from both Gram classes, indicating potential biological uses. The studied natural gum shows various activities, including: Anti-Cancer, Anti-Diabetic, Anti-HIV, Anti Oxidant, Anti-Malaria, Anti-Inflammatory, Anti-Hypertensive, Anti-Arthritis, Anti-Bacterial, Anti-Microbial, etc.
Keywords: natural gum, AgNPs; nanoparticles; antibacterial activity; antimicrobial activity; anticancer activity, etc.
