This project presents a Wireless secure hand held remote to control the traffic lights. Traffic light control systems are widely used to monitor and control the flow of automobiles. They aim to realize the smooth motion of vehicles in the transportation routes. However, the synchronization of multiple traffic light systems in the peak traffic hours is a complicated problem, Conventional systems do not handle variable flows approaching the junctions for this we propose a new system for a secure wireless traffic light controller, this system provides the control of traffic lights and barriers change manually by the traffic policeman using remote to secure this remote we are introducing a fingerprint unlock mechanism, by just pressing the button in the remote the lights in the traffic system will change accordingly that is when the signal is red, barrier emerges automatically along with the signal and when signal is yellow the barrier descends and this barrier system can also be controlled separately
. It is also expected to help reduce traffic congestion and signal breaking/jumping. A traffic cop can operate the signal from a distance of 50ft-80ft away from the signal junction.
