| Abstract: | In today’s world, the death rate of people is decreasing due to advanced medical facilities and well equipped health infrastructure. With the increasing life occupancy, many elderly people are forced to live alone and in an environment where they are not comfortable. This paper presents the insights of Ambient Assisted Living (AAL) which tends to provide a technological solution for easing life of elderly people. This paper discuss the various aspects of AAL systems. It also provides a comparative study of the different technologies for AAL system’s. Lastly the paper highlights major issues faced by the AAL systems and presents different directions of research for researchers in future. |
