This paper investigates the determinants of financial literacy in rural areas of Punjab, India, to reduce the financial literacy gap between Punjab and other regions. Using surveys and SPSS analysis, data was collected from 602 respondents. Findings suggest positive skewness, providing a positive statistical summary of mean, median, and mode. Financial literacy involves knowledge-based theories to search for potential issues and make sound financial decisions. The paper concludes that financial literacy requires awareness, skills, perspectives, abilities, and manners, and provides recommendations for future research. This research contributes to understanding financial literacy in rural areas of Punjab and its implications for financial stability.
