Abstract: Clinical experience is an important aspect of nursing education as it is the transformation of the theoretical knowledge into practice and the cornerstone of nursing as a health promotion. Theory and practice are effective when support given to students by the nursing staff in clinical setting, it also plays an important role in the achievement of learning objective. It was important to understand perception of staff nurse in order to provide behavior change communication to improve student nurse progression. By analyzing extensive range of studies it can be concluded that nursing student’s clinical experience is affected by interpersonal relationship and support from clinical staff. In depth critical review suggest nursing staff’s perception was positive toward students but with apprehension of their work disturbance in unit. Behavior change communication proves effective on improving health attitude in many developing countries.
