Insurances are one of the pillars of security and protection as seen by families in India. The most promising view post demonetization is that technological advancement has ensured growth in the percentage of knowledge of insurance to all people. The Pandemic COVID-19 was an eye opener as it paved way for steady growth and security of money for insurance for survivability. The trend of advancements overall has given different dimensions to the work life balance of individuals and family. The lifestyle studies or work life balance is seen as perception where so its tendency of change can be seen by the behavioral and the buying/ purchasing patterns of consumers. The dilemma of work obligations with personal responsibilities is seen as work life balance in this fast-paced society where data driven culture is seen through use of technology and in decision making.
A correlation coefficient is in contingency through the economic viewpoint to the work life balance. Money has become a driving force for work and to work less, which is contradictory but true. Time value of money is an especially important concept which is seen understood through experience which is decision making has been evolved with the generational trends that are upcoming. Lifestyle and money are the two strengths that are growing in importance and this study brings multidisciplinary research (social lifestyle, sociology, and economics) using data from questionnaire sent across to different age groups and presumed different lifestyle. The evidence of GDP growth is seen through the increased percentage usage in the insurance sector in recent times. The correlation coefficient is drawn between the variables (life and money) to draw inference of impact that it has on work life balance.
