| Abstract: | This empirical study evaluates the effectiveness of government programs in advancing women's entrepreneurship within India's micro and small enterprises (MSEs) and their marketing practices. A structured questionnaire was administered to women entrepreneurs engaged in MSEs to capture their perspectives on these initiatives. Parametric tests were conducted to analyze the collected data. Findings revealed that while the majority of respondents viewed government programs positively and acknowledged their role in increasing access to financial resources and enhancing marketing skills, challenges in implementation persisted. Recommendations include streamlining application processes, strengthening monitoring and evaluation, expanding access to mentorship, promoting marketing literacy, and diversifying support mechanisms. These findings and suggestions contribute to an enhanced understanding of government initiatives' strengths and weaknesses and offer a roadmap for more inclusive and effective future policies. |
