Abstract: This study looks at the complex relationships between the Brahmanical patriarchy of Indian society and the caste system, gender roles, and economic linkages. The study, which examines the elements of Brahmanical Patriarchy, places particular emphasis on the prevalence of honor killings, the historical restrictions on women's inheritance rights, and the approval of Anuloma marriages as opposed to Pratiloma unions' condemnation. The study elucidates the intimate relationship between sexual discipline and caste, which gives rise to a patriarchal structure with varying degrees of distinction between castes. It critically investigates how society considers ideal victims while exposing the systematic discrimination towards Dalit women in incidents of sexual abuse and assault. The study emphasizes how urgently the criminal justice system needs to be reevaluated in order to ensure equality and justice for women, regardless of their caste.
