Abstract: This study focuses on how the U.S. got involved in Afghanistan and Iraq after September 11, 2001 attack carried out by members of Al-Qaeda. It looks at the reasons given after 9/11, the war that went on for a long time, what really happened to presence of WMD’s (Weapons of Mass Destruction) in Iraq? why even after eliminating the 9/11 attack’s perpetrators, U.S. military stayed in Afghanistan? and how U.S. power caused destruction and instability in the region? This paper talks about how the media shows the West’s Orientalist mindset in Arab portrayal, with hidden motives to control and propagate resource imperialism and how it affects civil perception of U.S. military actions. It looks at the presence of superior like mindset in the Hollywood's movies, films or biographies based on Afghanistan and Iraq. It examines, how the media, i.e., Hollywood facilitates the U.S. in justifying their actions to a global audience when it intervenes in foreign territories? Resulting in dilemmas, such as the credibility and legality imbibing morality in authorising military interventions in foreign nations. The research looks at these things to know, how the media can make the public see the local people’s way of life, and what they think is right and wrong, and the same for nation like Afghanistan and Iraq? This shows deep-down, the unjust thoughts it creates and things we have trust in. September 11, 2001, is a major focus of media attention. Then, the media says the army has to do things to keep the country safe. U.S. troops say the things they do are to fight terror and stop threats in Afghanistan and Iraq. For example, the Taliban, Al-Qaeda, and ISIS.) This story gets help from Hollywood. But it does not show the reality, what issues does the local people face in Afghanistan and Iraq. The West's Hollywood just depicts a few stories which hides other views, perspectives, cultures and tradition which makes it hard to get why other people are the way they are, and puts too much on just one side of War.
