Abstract: In the modern business world Environmental issues have a significant role in marketing in today's commercial sector. Almost every government in the world has expressed concern about green marketing practices and has made an effort to regulate them. For instance, the National Association of Attorneys-General and the Federal Trade Commission in the US have produced sizable publications discussing green marketing. There hasn't been much scholarly research on environmental or green marketing, according to my findings. It defines the words and ideas of green marketing, goes over the significance of going green in brief, and looks at some of the factors that lead to businesses embracing a green marketing approach. Additionally, it highlights a few issues with green marketing. In addition, this paper emphasizes how customers are impacted by green marketing. Surveys were used to gather data from the respondents, and a thorough questionnaire was created specifically for that reason. The interview process involved interviewing the respondents at several sites throughout Chennai. There are 108 responders in the sample size. The information gathered has have been examined question by question. Following the analysis, the specifics of the research findings are discussed, and suggestions are made in light of the findings. Lastly, I can state that "green marketing" is a legitimate marketing tactic that can increase a business's revenue and clientele.
