Ensuring childhood safety involves educating children about recognizing strangers and understanding boundaries. Teaching them about “good touch, bad touch” empowers them to protect themselves from potential harm. Creating an open environment for communication builds trust, enabling children to confide in adults if they encounter uncomfortable situations. : A quasi experimental approach and pretest – posttest control group design was adopted. Purposive sampling technique was used to select 100 children i.e. 50 in each experimental and control group. In experimental group, self-structured questionnaire was used to assess the knowledge on good touch and bad touch. The collected data was analyzed by calculating frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, chi square and t- test. In the pretest of experimental group, average knowledge score was 15.26 while in control group, it was 15.30. An independent t test result indicate that there was no disparity in pre test knwoledge score between experimental and control group of children. In the post test experimental group had mean knowledge score was 18.40 while in control group mean knowledge score was 15.43. The result signify the existence of substantial distinction in post test knowldege scores between the experimental and control group among children.
