This study looks into how higher education internship programs affect students' chances of finding jobs after graduation. Higher education curricula now include internship programs as a mandatory component, providing students with the chance to obtain real-world experience and hone skills related to their desired vocations. Using a mixed-methods approach, this study combines qualitative insights from participant interviews with quantitative analysis of employment data. The results show a strong correlation between involvement in internship programs and better employment prospects, including higher rates of job placement, more employability, and improved career advancement. Furthermore, the study underscores the diverse manners in which internships foster students' career advancement, including the acquisition of skills, exposure to industry, and networking prospects. Nonetheless, obstacles including workplace relationships, logistical complexity, and emotional hurdles are also noted, highlighting the significance of well-thought-out program design and support services. Recommendations for improving internship programs and developing an experiential learning culture in higher education institutions are given in light of these findings. All things considered, this study advances our knowledge of how internships affect students' transition to the workforce and offers guidance to stakeholders looking to improve the efficiency of these kinds of initiatives.
