| Abstract: | This paper will comprehensively understand ethnic conflicts in the region and explore the strategies to achieve sustainable peace. The following research questions will guide the course of this research- ●What are the drivers and dynamics of conflicts in the Sub- Saharan Africa? ● What lessons can be taken from the previous measures taken to bring peace? ● Which theoretical framework is suitable to explain the Sub-Saharan African conflict and its resolution? The paper will begin by giving a background of conflicts, their context, and the current situation. It will then examine the case studies of different conflicts. Finally, the paper will discuss the policy measures and recommendations that might be suitable for sustainable peace and addressing ethnic conflicts. |
