महिला उधमिता किसी भी देश की आर्थिक प्रगति का एक महतवपूर्ण कारक मन जाता है ,महिला उधमी न केवल खुद को आत्मनिर्भर बनाती है बल्कि दूसरों के लिए भी रोज़गार का सृजन करती है |वर्तमान हमारे देश में महिलाओं द्वारा कई उधम चलाये जा रहें है और इनसे बड़ी संख्या में लोगो को रोज़गार मिल रहा है |महिलाओं की यह कारोबारी भागीदारी देश के विक्विकास में अहम भूमिका निभा रही है ,साथ ही महिलाएं स्वयं आगे बढ़ते हुए दूसरी महिलाओं को भी सशक्त एवम आत्मनिर्भर बनाने में मददगार बन रही है |महिला उधमी देश के मानव संसाधन का अहम हिस्सा है इसके बाउजूद कारोबारी परिवेश में आज भी महिलाओं के प्रति लोगो में असहजता तथा अविश्वास का माहौल देखने को यदा कदा मिल जाता है |भारत जैसे बड़ी आबादी वाले देश में रोज़गार के अवसर सृजन करने में महिला उधमियों की इस महत्ती भूमिका पर गौर किया जाना ज़रूरी है |
