Though the shift towards remote work and flexible work arrangements has significant implications for employee satisfaction and well-being, many companies shifted to the old work mode and started asking their employees to return to work. This impacted employee engagement and job satisfaction. For an organisation, it is important to understand the impact of flexibility of work location on employee satisfaction, in order to develop effective policies and practices that support employee well-being and engagement.
The problem statement for this project is: What is the impact of the flexibility of work location on employee satisfaction, and what are the factors that may moderate this relationship? By exploring this question, this project aims to identify the potential benefits and drawbacks of remote work, as well as the factors that may affect employee satisfaction and well-being in a remote work environment. This will enable organisations to develop effective policies and practices that support employee well-being and engagement in a rapidly changing work environment.
This project also aims to explore the change management theory and why it is essential to implement it in order to shift employees from working from home to the office post-pandemic.
